New Role: Senior Vice President – Weber Shandwick Seattle

It is with great enthusiasm that I announce that I have accepted the position of Senior Vice President at Weber Shandwick’s Seattle office.  I begin this new chapter of my professional life at the end of the week and I’m thrilled to join such a respected and talented team.

As many of you know I was let go about a month ago during a round of deep layoffs at Spring Creek Group, something that I was very disappointed about at the time because I enjoyed being part of their great team. What followed my announcement of that layoff was a humbling reaction of support from my community of friends with the resounding theme being that “bigger and better things were in store for me”.  It would seem you guys were right!

I’m thrilled to be joining Weber Shandwick (WS), a leading global public relations agency with offices around the world. The firm’s success is built on its deep commitment to client service, their people, creativity, collaboration and harnessing the power of advocates – engaging stakeholders in new and creative ways to build brands and reputation.

I join the company at a very interesting time.  In addition to the offerings above, WS is evolving into a full service communications agency, meaning they can deliver Integrated Marketing and Transmedia solutions to their clients.  It is this reason that I chose to bring my experience in Marketing, Social Media, Client Relations, Business Development and Team Leadership to WS and be a part of their growing service offerings.  I truly feel this company is paving the way, providing the synergetic benefits of having all of a companies communications needs under one proverbial roof.

Thanks again for all your support over the past month folks, I really appreciated it.
